The painting of, The Canadian Mounted Police on a "Musical Ride" "Charge!", was done by New York-born Frederic Remington in 1887. The focal point of this painting is the policemen that are lined up. The policemen also look like they are in kinetic state, which is something in motion. This is a restricted palette artwork because, it is limited to a few pigments and mixtures. In my opinion the painting would be more appealing if it is in color. The value, the relative darkness of hue or of neutral varying from black to white can also be used to describe this painting.
